Peter Bowen's Aisemma is surely better than she has shown in two starts since coming from Ireland but she cannot be backed with any confidence despite the form of the yard and a safer option looks to be BASFORD LASS, who gets the vote over Isle Of Inishmore. Tim Vaughan's gelding was well held on his first start for the yard here over three miles earlier this month but he should appreciate the drop back in trip and comes form a yard in good heart so has to be respected. Richard Lee's Lough Rynn has his first start since February and has claims if he has improved for the break, while Peter Hiatt's Lygon Legend is relatively unexposed after just five starts but needs to improve on all known form to trouble the judge. Anthony Honeyball's Cash Back won well enough over course and distance last month but a 9lb rise for that success looks harsh and preference is for Basford Lass. Jennie Candlish's mare unseated her rider at Stratford on her most recent start but had won well at Cartmel previously and she looks worth backing to resume winning ways.
