Verdict

GREY BOY is taken to win the opener, while both Batchworth Blaise and Sotik Star will prove the likely dangers. The selection is winless since last April but he has since slipped down the weights giving him the opportunity to be competitive once again. He was not beaten far on his latest outing finishing second to Bidable. If he can recapture that form he will have to go close. Batchworth Blaise has won twice this flat season on the all weather and although he does favour the surface at Lingfield he has shown his liking for Kempton also. At his best he has the ability to be in the shake but the handicapper looks to have him where he wants him for the time being. Sotik Star has been running consistently well in defeat of late and can once again enter the frame. He looks fairly treated on his all weather form and he is another to add to the short list. Grey Boy comes into the race in great form and looks the percentage call to land the opener.
