Verdict

ULTIMATE QUEST is taken to win with his six pound penalty and get the better of Uncle Keef and City Stable who will pose as the main dangers. The selection broke his maiden tag after winning over course and distance last time out. He is still relatively unexposed for his age and lacks the experience that some of his rivals may have. He has continued to improve and the step up to two miles has really worked in his favour this summer. He comes from a yard in top form and with luck in running he will be difficult to oppose. Uncle Keef is seven pounds higher in the weights since winning over the same trip at Yarmouth last time out. That was his first real sign of ability and he obviously relished the step up in trip also. Again he lacks race experience and will pose as the main danger to the selection. City Stable is another with a recent win to his name having won over a mile five furlongs at Warwick last time out. His recent form has been eye catching, however he is untried at this trip and for that reason he should be treated with caution. Ultimate Quest comes from a shrewd stable and he can continue in his winning ways.
