Spic 'N Span comes here after a hat-trick of seconds and will be looking to return to winning ways whilst OCEAN BLAZE is seeking a return to the form that has seen her win over course and distance before and similar remarks can be made about Green Lagonda who has shown very little in his two starts so far this year. The selection should be suited by the ground and trip and ran reasonably last time out in a handicap, although will need to find more towards the finish. However she is far higher rated than her rivals today. The draw is not ideal but her main rivals are situated near by and if tracking them well should be able to win. Spic 'N Span only lost out to Multahab at Brighton last time in the final furlong and although this has been somewhat of a worry in recent starts another good run can be expected. However, there are some strong reservations that this track is right for him. He has weakened within the final furlong in previous starts after running at the front and with an uphill finish at Bath this may not be ideal and could catch him out. Green Lagonda has been excellent over this trip and conditions at the track before but he was a long way behind in his last appearance and will need to find more against this opposition. Our pick in this race is Ocean Blaze.
