In depth

Verdict

HUMIDOR has winning form recently which is more than can be said for the opposition so that is enough to side with him ahead of the potential contender Take Ten and the well weighted Leleyf. The pick was only a couple of lengths behind the victor at Windsor last time on his handicap debut and prior to this a win at Doncaster in a maiden for the Roger Charlton trained gelding indicates that he is in-form at the moment. Given that the rest of the field have not been showing as decent form we choose to side with him today. Take Ten has gone backwards so far this year although the opposition he has raced against lately has been of higher quality than in the field today. He looks approximately right in the rating and should put in a decent run given the weight he carries. Mick Channon has a respectable record at Bath and Leleyf looks nicely placed in the weights for this handicap. She remains a major danger to our selection. We stick with Humidor though to recreate the winning formula and emerge victorious here.
