Verdict

Richard Hannon knows how to send out juvenile winners and this could be another win for the yard after ROSSETTI ran as green as grass approaching the finish last time and improvement is expected in this contest, whilst Diamond Charlie is an interesting prospect after a respectable third last time out and Place And Chips is not out of the equation despite a poor debut. Rossetti comes from an in-form yard and was not disgraced on his first appearance after showing his inexperience. There is a strong possibility that there is more to come given the pedigree and although a longer trip will be expected in time, he can win this race. Place And Chips was never on terms at Leicester on debut but the winner of that contest did very well to place in a Group 2 at Ascot last week and with progression likely after that first run out, Place And Chips could put in a better effort. Diamond Charlie was only a length behind the winner at Sandown but was beaten by a Richard Hannon horse that day and the same could happen here. We therefore side with Rossetti to beat the competition.
