        Verdict

        Tension Point is selected in preference to Mick Is Back and Conney Nobel. The last named has a solid chance on these terms and, having not been beaten far in a stronger race last week, it is feasible to assume that he will appreciate the ease in grade today. A market move in his direction would be a significant indicator. Mick Is Back was just behind the selection when they met at Lingfield nine days ago and is 1lb better off this afternoon - which should make a for an intriguing clash. However, Tension Point has the slightly stronger profile and the son of Hernando looks worth persevering with. Shane Kelly gets a good tune out of the three-year-old and the partnership will be hard to pass if they get the rub of the green.
