Almaty Express is marginally preferred to Gifted Lass and Trinculo. The selection has only one way of running and that is to crack out and attempt to make all. Front runners have certainly enjoyed the best of fortune at Wolverhampton recently and it is hoped that Almaty Express can make full use of a favourable draw. Gifted Lass represents the in-form yard of John Balding. The mare is not quite as well drawn this afternoon and does have to reverse form with our selection in order to win. Trinculo is far from straight forward but could have gleaned confidence from running well in weaker contests. Muktasb's win ratio of 1-34 says it all about him. He has the ability to win this but his attitude invariably kicks in when push comes to shove. Mambazo is likely to be plugging on at the death whilst Nusoor is potentially open to improvement. Canadian Danehill has a positive jockey booking and is watched in the market. Almaty Express is a sprinter in form and is afforded the recommendation.
