Verdict

Irish Music gets the confident vote in this handicap with Joss Stick and Diademas rating the main dangers. The selection has been in good form of late without winning but was a fair second behind Mullein last time out, that form looks solid in the context of this race and he need only reproduce that effort to win here. Joss Stick rates the main danger as he won well when last seen when beating Orange Square but he may just need the run after a 131 day break. Diademas is another that could go well on his latest fourth behind Swallow Forest but consistency is not his strong point. Of the remainder Penrice Castle hails from a yard in form but looks weighted up to his best and for the winner we are happy to return to the unexposed Irish Music.
