    Verdict

Not much public form to go on in the opener but we will side with Anglezarke to get the better of Shadow Bay and Dougie Peel. Tim Easterby has won this race for the last 2 years and this filly is related to some smart sprinters. The market will be a guide to her chance but if the vibes are positive then she can take all the beating. Shadow Bay brought up the rear in a maiden last time, but that was quite a hot contest and he may be able to put his racecourse experience to good use. Dougie Peel is an interesting newcomer from the Kevin Ryan yard but he is bred to do better over further in time and for that reason we will pass him over today. Crewezando is another newcomer from a yard in decent form, but in a race that will be informative for the future we will take Anglezarke to lead them home.
