    Verdict

A tough start here for punters with a trappy claimer but something has to win and the principals look to be Smokey The Bear, Climate and Dushstorm and the narrow vote is given to Climate. The selection has been in good form of late and won in similar grade when beating Moayed last time out, he again has conditions to suit and, with a strong pace also looking assured, he will be hard to beat. Smokey The Bear is dropping in grade and should be watched in the market but his yard is going through a quiet spell at present. Dushstorm is another last time out winner who could go well, he defeated Royal Dignitary last time out but this looks more competitive and he is taken on with that in mind. Of the others, Just Intersky's best form is over further and for the winner we are happy to return to the in-form Climate.
