Trinkila, Emshabb and Geestring are three against the field in this tight handicap with the narrow vote going to Geestring. The selection hails from the in-form Richard Hannon yard and was a fair fourth behind Talk of Saafend when last seen; he goes well fresh and looks a value bet in an open affair. Emshabb rates the main danger as she beat Beautiful Lady last time out. However she looks to have a high enough mark for what she has actually achieved and is taken on with this in mind. Trinkila is another from a yard in form and won when last seen, beating Samurai Warrior. She looks sure to improve for the step up in trip and should be watched in the market. Of the remainder Kashmina showed improved form last time out but is bred to be suited by an even longer trip while Feeling Proud again looks vulnerable under top weight and for the winner we are happy to return to Geestring who looks sure to be a fair price.
