Verdict

Sylvester Kirk's Lucky Flyer is less exposed than her rivals after just two career starts but she would need to improve on all known form to trouble the judge in a race where it is hard to get away from DIAMOND JOHNNY G, who gets the vote ahead of Lexi's Layla. David Simcock's filly ran to a consistent level of form in four starts as a juvenile on turf and on the Polytrack and she has to be respected on her reappearance and first start as a three-year-old but it is impossible to know if she has trained on. Derek Shaw's Emma's Secrets is lightly raced but comes back after a long absence and is probably best watched, while the John Jenkins-trained Papageno is capable but is becoming expensive to follow. Preference then is for Ed Ceighton's Diamond Johnny G, who showed a decent level of form as a juvenile and has run creditably in three starts this term and he looks the one to beat.
