MOSQUERAS ROMANCE has a 7lb penalty for a win here last time but can overcome that at the main expense of Perfect Silence and Respite. Marco Botti's nicely-bred filly comes here on the back of a mile win last time out. She was well in command at the line there and she evidently acts very well on this surface. She drops in trip today but is fancied to defy her wide draw with a bold bid. To Be Or Not To Be is a course and distance winner and her latest effort at Thirsk reads fairly well, as does Perfect Friends efforts over seven furlongs this season. Sweet Gale is consistent and the return to this seven furlong trip will not trouble her, as it won't pose any problems for the course and distance winner Respite. My Best Bet is consistent and is yet another to have won at the course, although she has a bit to find with Perfect Friend on their Newbury run in July. Song Of Praise looks high enough in the weights, as does Miss Mujanna now returned to the all-weather. Perfect Silence has won three of her last six starts, however she is fitted with some blinkers following a below-par effort at Newmarket last time out. Another competitive handicap, but the feeling is that the best filly may be Mosqueras Romance.
