BOLD RING is given the tentative vote here ahead of Billy Beetroot, Django Reinhardt and Come On Buckers. The selection has the course and distance form in the book, winning her sole start here at Kempton back in October of last year. Some consistent recent efforts have suggested that she is ready to strike again and off this mark of 60 she looks capable of doing so today. Billy Beetroot has not been particularly well-fancied of late but would be interesting with market support, as it would be for handicap debutant Django Reinhardt. He doesn't have the jazziest of pedigrees but it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see him hit all the right notes this evening. Darryll Holland looks an interesting jockey booking for Davids Matador, Sky High Kid needs to bounce back to form, whilst Come On Buckers and Clerical are two of the more consistent runners in the race. A competitive race but the filly Bold Ring is fancied to prevail.
