In a tricky race, Davids Mark is selected ahead of Knead The Dough and Piccostar. Having stayed on steadily over five furlongs at Wolverhampton last time, Davids Mark might now be ready to step up over this longer trip. The betting might tell us more, though, and he does not have the best draw. Knead The Dough still looks reasonably treated based on his Yarmouth win as he raced on the unfavoured stands side at Folkestone last time. Watch out for a good run from the now-well-weighted One Way Ticket as he races in first-time blinkers. Almora Guru's mark is potentially attractive as he races on the all-weather for the first time, while Majestical is well capable of running well from his current rating in the hands of Darryll Holland. Littledodayno could also go well on the all-weather now that his mark has taken a nosedive, and, on a surface he likes, King Egbert is not ruled out either. Finally, Piccostar is closing in on a course five-furlong winning mark but, for the selection, we will stick with Davids Mark.
