Vallani is selected here ahead of Lady Sorcerer and Lella Beya. Vallani caught the eye when staying on from the rear to finish a never-nearer fourth at Lingfield on her racecourse debut. Normal improvement from that run should see her competitive today. Having shown promise on her debut here, Lady Sorcerer then bettered that with a good Ayr run. She is on the up and her form entitles her to plenty of respect today. Lella Beya's all-weather debut came here last time and she was noted staying on. With the step up in trip looking likely to suit, she looks set for a good run too. Oceana Blue also improved for a step up in trip to run well at Wolverhampton last time and cannot be ruled out. Spiritofthestorm ran well over course and distance last time on her course debut despite running green so is another to consider. Of the newcomers, Charlie Cyzer's Flower has plenty of winners in her pedigree, Mark Johnston's Leamington has to be given the once-over, while Cherished Song at least showed improvement from run one to two last time. For the selection, though, we will stick with Vallani.
