Elizabeth Swann, Spinning Lucy and Shabiba are the shortlisted trio here with Shabiba taken to come out on top. Shabiba is speedily bred, out of the triple winner Misterah, and she made a promising debut when narrowly beaten into second at Goodwood. She will have benefitted from the experience and will be thereabouts, though it is too early to say how good that Goodwood race was. A daughter of Spinning World, Spinning Lucy made her debut back in April and has run only twice since, recently in a top Irish sales race where she wasnt disgraced. She was a beaten favourite on her first two runs and she is taken on in the belief that some later maturing types may have improved past her. Elizabeth Swann has been staying on at the end of her races and perhaps a longer trip would suit. She handles soft and fast ground and can hit the frame. Shabiba looks potentially the most interesting runner in the field and she can make her speed and experience count.
