Austintatious, Maid To Ransom and Twice Over catch the eye in this wide open affair where there is very little form to go on, with Austintatious taken to follow up a promising debut. Frankie Dettori is an interesting booking for Austintatious, who finished a staying fourth when unfancied over six furlongs on his bow. This extra quarter mile looks sure to suit on breeding, and with that valuable experience under his belt he is taken to score. There are a number of well bred newcomers to note, First Avenue is a son of Montjeu who could be anything representing Michael Jarvis, while Henry Cecil introduces Twice Over, a son of Observatory out of a winning mare over middle distances who is closely related to the classy Passage of Time. Richard Hughes is on board the Khaled Abdulla owned colt and with the stable going very well he can go close. Made To Ransom is a half brother to no fewer than five winners and hailing from the John Gosden camp will know what is expected of him. The stable have already had a winner this week and he can make a bold bid. Austintatious can make his experience tell.
