In the opener, Silca Key is selected ahead of Candy Mountain and Golan Way. With his stable in good form, Silca Key might finally be able to transfer his Turf ability onto the all-weather. He got going late in the day over a mile here last time and might now be primed to go well over his favoured trip. Candy Mountain came good in an apprentice event last time and her mark still seems fair as she debuts on the all-weather. Golan Way is entitled to be improving after just two runs this season, is relatively unexposed but has won at Wolverhampton and is worth some thought. Red Blooded Woman was sent off as favourite for her latest effort but disappointed and has something to prove on her all-weather debut, and, finally, with the handicapper reluctant to drop Professor Twinkle since his Lingfield win. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Silca Key.
