Predestine has been found a suitable opportunity to get back to winning ways, with Royal Niece, Monsieur Georges and Follow Your Heart all out to stop him. Predestine may have topweight, but other than that Kim Bailey's seven-year-old has leading claims in this company judged on his defeat of Corlande at Haydock in January. A first-time tongue-tie contributed to his success that day, but the aid was left off at Uttoxeter next time, and that probably had more to do with his failed bid more than a 4lb rise in the weights. Not surprisingly, the tongue-tie is back on today, and we can expect an improved performance. Royal Niece was pulled up in the testing ground at Towcester and should fare better on this slightly better ground, while Monsieur Georges has been placed a couple of times and has a light enough weight, so can also figure. Follow Your Heart has only had one outing over fences, and not a very good one at that, but he has some scope. He also has too much weight here for what he achieved to date, and preference is much for Predestine.
