Lester Leaps In looks good in the opener and is the selection, with Conkering and Doctor David nominated as best of the rest. The selection slightly surprised connections by running Paradi so close at Sandown last time on going considered to be softer than ideal. That stands out as the best form on offer and he is the one to beat. Conkering is better than his Leicester debut might suggest and with that experience under his belt, he looks set to go well, while a repeat of his debut second to Prince Arry would make Doctor David a contender for a place. Ushnu showed some promise on his bumper debut but the Barney Curley-trained Faraday has not shown much in a couple of British runs and, in all fairness, Lester Leaps In looks to have been found a good opening and, accordingly, he is the selection.
