Polyphon can get losses back here, with Ipledgeallegiance seen as the main danger. With Graham Lee back in the saddle on Peter Monteith's Polyphon, hopes are high that the seven-year-old can get back to winning ways. It has to be said that he does not always find as much off the bridle as he appears to have, but there was nothing wrong with his Musselburgh victory in November. Subsequently beaten behind Oneway at Haydock, he has been given a break since his last outing at Sedgefield in January and lines up a fresh horse. Ipledgeallegiance has had two outings over fences and has not really impressed so can be taken on, while Cusp caused a big shock on her chase debut over the course and distance the time before last, beating Tribal Dispute. She failed to carry a penalty to success next time at Catterick but that run was too bad to be true. She might just go close in receipt of weight all round, but preference is for Polyphon.
