David Easterby has a strong hand here saddling two of the likely market leaders in NETWORK OSCAR and Opio and the former, who has been in great form in point-to-points, is marginally preferred and gets the vote with Gunner Royal rated the best of the remainder. Neither of David Easterby's two runners have raced under rules for some time but both come here in good form in points with Network Oscar having seemingly the better form and Oliver Greenall looks to be on the better horse than brother Tom on Opio. Double Gem ran better when successful between the flags last time and has to be respected along with Dr Hellier, who has been running consistently well of late. Sue Smith's Gunner Royal came good in a point last time but this looks tougher, while Paddys Unyoke ran well enough at Kelso last month and has to be considered. Several of these have chances but Network Oscar could hardly be in better form in recent starts in points and he is taken to transfer that form to rules.
