Verdict

Youm Jamil sets the standard in this maiden but after a promising debut we go for RULE BREAKER while the progressive Blues Music has a great chance if as good on grass as on the Polytrack. Expensive and related to plenty of useful types the pick ran a nicedebut when finishing ahead of a subsequent winner when placing third of seven. Mark Johnston's runners nearly always come on from their first effort and this step up in trip will help with that. Youm Jamil is already rated 80 after four outings. He showed plenty of ability in the first three but after a disappointing run last time has a little to prove. Blues music has improved in three starts and only found the one too good last time. The form from has some strength too it and it will be interesting to see how he goes on his first sight of turf. Pedantic looks the best of the newcomers related to Group and Listed winners but this trip is likely to be the shortest he'll handle so in a decent looking maiden Rule Breaker can win at the second time of asking.
