Richard Fahey's in blistering form at the moment, and his only representative at the meeting is MR FREDDY who carries our support, being marginally preferred to Royal Executioner and Veroon. Mr Freddy dead-heated last time out, when finishing really well in a stiff headwind at Beverley. He's a progressive sort,a dn although this is a step up in grade, he should be comfortable in this sort of company. He's got plenty in hand at the weights with top-rated Royal Executioner, and Jamie Moriarty will hotfoot it down from Redcar for his only ride of the night. Royal Execution's having a good season, with two places and a win in three runs, but all have been on the all-weather. Veroon is the only other runner to have won over this trip, and that was last time out when given a soft lead in a maiden. A previous runner up in handicap company with headgear on, that's not been put back on, but there may be some improvement to come. However our preference here is for Mr Freddy.
