Alan Swinbank's having a cracking season, and EZDEYAAD can bring him further success, with his only runner on the card preferred to Never Ending Tale and Brasingaman Hifive. He won a similar contest easily a fortnight ago over course and distance after getting up a good head of steam to make all. Raised six pounds for that success, he may not have things all his own way tonight, but he still looks the one to beat. Prior to that win he'd been running well, with a number of winners coming from his other outings. Brasingaman Hifive is the other course and distance winner in the field, but that last success was last summer. He knows his way round here, with more than half of his races to date being at the track, but this may be too stiff a task. Never Ending Tale is Ed Vaughan's only runner and steps down in trip from a win at Doncaster last time out, when first time cheekpieces helped, and they stay on. He's not the most straightforward of rides, but being lightly raced there may be more improvement to come. It promises to be a decent contest, with our preference being for Ezdeyaad.
