A fascinating handicap in which we will shortlist Golden Grace, Kibryaa and Inchloss, with the vote going to the last-named. The selection has left the impression of being a late-maturing type and certainly gave the impression that there is plenty more to come when staying on from of the pace at Nottingham last time. A rating of 79 going into this race hardly seems excessive and he ought to run well. The same can be said of Golden Grace, who comes here on the back of a well-beaten Royal Ascot effort but that was over 12 furlongs. Before that he had shown decent form at up to 10 furlongs and, on breeding, this mile trip should suit. Kibryaa is another to have shown solid form and is consistent, while the likes of Balavista and Serre Chevalier are progressing but, much as they will need to find more than they have so far shown, they might be capable of it. Of the others, Mrs Moh got the run of things to score at Chester from Jazz Scene but has run well from a revised mark since. Iskander might improve stepped up to a mile but Baffle has to put a very disappointing course performance behind her to play a part today. Overall, then as we say in a race of great interest, we will side with Inchloss.
