Rudry Dragon has been knocking on the door of late and has the ability for it to swing wide open. The selection has finished third in each of his last three outings and on each occasion he has not been beaten far. His strike rate is not great but if reproducing the same level of form he showed when third to Formax at Goodwood on his latest run back in May he ought to take all the beating. Of his rivals Bull Market looks the most likely danger having won two of his last three. He scored at Haydock before not acting around the Chester track. He was back to winning ways over course and distance recently for which he carries five pounds more, but another bold bid can be expected. Royal Flynn is another for the short list having run so well to finish second over course and distance back in April. He has not been seen since for some reason or another but is one to note in the market. But for the winner we return to Rudry Dragon.
