In depth

Verdict

A competitive handicap to solve in which we will give the tentative vote to Fairfield Flame with both Askar Tau and Mount Lavinia worth noting. The selection has been nothing but consistent in her short career breaking her maiden on her fifth attempt in a handicap at Nottingham. Since then she has run well in defeat and looks more than capable of making herself present off her current mark of 68. Askar Tau is lightly raced and is still improving. He ran a personal best at Great Leighs recently when second of fifteen so will be one to note in the betting market. As will Mount Lavinia who is now four pounds higher since winning at Bath and is another who still looks on the up grade so has to be one for the short list, but for the winner we return to Fairfield Flame.
