Jim Goldie looks to have found a decent opportunity for Orientor to open his account for the season and the five-year-old is taken to do so at the main expense of Resplendent Cee and Ikan. Well in on official BHB ratings, the selection has ground conditions to suit, comes here in form after a respectable second to Red Carpet at Doncaster and, against some moderate looking opposition, gets a confident vote. With the stable of Peter Harris now back among the winners, Resplendent Cee has to be respected but may struggle to give away so much weight and a bigger threat to the selection may be the three-year-old Ikan, who receives plenty of weight. Ellens Academy would prefer a faster surface.
