Four Miracles gets the nod over View From The Top and Allaire, while support for Ducal Pip Squeak would be noteworthy. The last named has a bit to find with the selection from her debut run, but is entitled to have come on for the run and, as she wasn't knocked about, she could well post an improved display. Allaire shaped with promise on debut at Lingfield and would not have too much to find to get competitive in this company. Mark Johnston's horses do tend to improve with an outing under their belts, so market confidence would be dangerous to ignore. View From The Top faced a stiff test in a handicap last time, but has to be considered back in this company. Again, market support will be significant. However, preference goes to Four Miracles, who has experience of this course and, as she gave the impression that a race of this nature would be a formality for her when she was a close up fourth here a fortnight ago, the Mark Tompkins-trained filly looks the best bet to lift the maiden auction.
