Hurstpierpoint is given the narrow vote ahead of Binario Uno and Victorian Princess. Richard Fahey has won more than his fair share of juvenile events this season and the selection showed plenty on her Ripon debut to suggest she can pick up a race of this nature. She was green and swerved right at the start but still managed to get within a four lengths of the winner. Binario Uno also showed plenty of promise on his first run at Hamilton and can be expected to make improvement. The pick of the newcomers should be Victorian Princess who hails from a yard that has already managed a first time out juvenile winner. However on this occasion we will side with an experienced runner and plump for Hurstpierpoint.
