Over the years this race has thrown up some big price winners, and we're going to side with Rod Millman's consistent sort MATTAMIA, who we think can get the better of Strictly and Green Beret. Plenty of these are coming into the race in good form, but Mattamia has had an excellent season after being a disappointing two year old. Being gelded has seen a big improvement, with three wins and two runners up spots this year. Those have all been over this trip, and he's one who likes to go from the front early, and he's got the ideal draw here. Strictly will be helped by any rain that may have come; placed on her last two outings over this trip, expect to see her produced late on. She's the only one here not to have won over this trip. Green Beret looks like she's coming back to form, and John Gosden's string are reaping rewards for him. Narrowly beaten by La Zamora last time, they're closer in the weights this time around, to give connections confidence about reversing that form. However, we think first home can be Mattamia.
