Rebel Prince should be well weighted in this handicap but with that one having failed to take advantage of similar terms last time and with Theola high enough for his handicap debut, we'll side with DEAUVILLE FLYER. Tim Easterby's runner made a decent fist of a much better race over this trip at York last time out and with the form from that race likely to get a decent boost at Goodwood before the off here, he looks good to run a big race with an pound taken off his load. Rebel Prince went close in a strong race for the lowly grade in April when three pounds worse off but while he should go well off this mark he failed to do so when just a pound heavier last time. Thoela comes into her handicap debut having been well held by a horse rated 80 in maiden company on her last start. She was well ahead of an animal that has a mark of 72 though so her own burden looks to be fair. Crocus Rose stayed on nicely to grab a place last time so should go even better now upped in trip but with a decent standard setting run last time Deauville Flyer can sore to victory.
