Imperial House represents a yard who have found a bit of form recently but with him not obviously weighted well on his handicap bow we'll instead pick FRANCIS WALSINGHAM as our idea of a winner with Arachnophobia also feared. The pick made an encouraging handicap debut when not far beat last time. He'll be a pound lighter this time around and with doubts about his main rivals he looks the percentage call. Imperial House was winner of a warm enough maiden on his last start when dropping down to this trip. Conditions seem to be in his favour but doubts remain about the validity of his rating. Arachnophobia put a disappointing run behind him when scoring in similar company last time. The five pound extra on his back for that isn't the only worry here though with his turf form wildly inferior to his all-weather form. Medicean Man ran well enough last time to suggest he can compete of this mark and Cook's Endeavour also looks weighted correctly. Good competitive stuff this and Francis Walsingham can protect our investment.
