A race of limited betting appeal but for the winner, we recommend MAKE AMENDS with Theocritus and Potentiale worthy of inclusion as dangers. Ron Hodges' four-year-old was not given the greatest of rides at Salisbury under an inexperienced amateur but her Folkestone victory has lived long in the memory and off just a 4lb higher mark, we are prepared to offer another chance. Theocritus has reported problems with bursting blood vessels. If able to remain sound in his races, he is more than capable at this grade and a decent rider is aboard this afternoon. Potentiale is over his ideal trip this afternoon and while he struggles to win, he is sure to go close. Beauchamp Wizard is a real question mark horse. A literal reading of his form indicates that he could be very well treated off a mark of 74 though there is the small measure of a year's absence that needs to be factored into the equation. Dragon Slayer is no great shakes though has gone well for an amateur in the past. The remainder make very little appeal at these terms. Make Amends is taken to do exactly that today.
