There's not a lot of form to go at for this fillies' maiden and out of those that have raced Angelena Ballerina sets the standard but given she might be a little exposed in this company now we'll opt for the slightly progressive Godolphin runner BATTLEMAIDEN with Subtefuge and Outshine also remaining of interest. Saeed bin Suroor has a cracking record with his younger horses this year and this young lady has progressed slightly in two runs and with her fourth place behind some useful looking sorts reading well she should improve again on ground that should suit based on her pedigree. Angelena Ballerina ran a cracker in defeat in a listed contest on quick ground over the minimum trip in May but she has since failed to take a good looking opportunity to get off the mark two starts ago when looking to lack stamina for this trip. Subtefuge ran a promising debut when only behind a fair sort so with the usual improvement should figure. As should Outshine, who held some above average form on her second start last time. A good looking maiden this that should produce plenty of winners in the future but for the now Battlemaiden is preferred.
