In depth

Verdict

PERFECT PRIDE can continue her trainer's good run though Artistic Licence and Crystal Moments will prove tough opposition. The selection was a little disappointing last time out at Windsor but she had won in taking style at the course previously and should be capable of a bold show this afternoon. Artistic Licence ran a solid race in the Stewards Sprint. The booking of Ryan Moore is certainly a rare one by Mick Channon and she will be staying on. Crystal Moments has won two all-weather starts and one on the turf. This is an easier assignment than some of her previous listed contests. Rafta has been a credit to connections this term and anything won now is surely a bonus. Dubai Legend is invariably slowly away though will be staying on with a rattle. Peter Winkworth had a winner the other day so watch the market in relation to Cut The Cackle. A competitive enough opener on balance and while many have questions, Perfect Pride can provide the answers.
