Takitwo is taken to beat a competitive field, with Outer Hebrides, Golden Prospect, and Coup d'Etat just three more with claims of a sort. The ground may have a big say in the outcome here, as quite a few of these have shown their best form of late with some cut. That includes Coup d'Etat who bounced back to form with an overdue win at Leicester just five days ago. He has a 6lb penalty for that success, and we will take him on with Takitwo, whose stable won this 12-months ago with Taranaki. Given a patient ride by Jamie Spencer at Yarmouth last time, he was noted making good late headway at the seaside track, and off his current mark, should make a bold bid to get back to winning ways. Outer Hebrides meets Dr Synn on 5lb worse terms now, so is not certain to maintain recent Salisbury form, and in any case may not even prove best of the Milton Bradley quartet. Golden Prospect was only just touched off at Yarmouth last time, but has a low draw and would prefer another furlong really, so in a tricky affair, we rely on Takitwo.
