In a race to savour, Sense Of Joy gets the nod over Muthabara, Rosaleen and Mistress Greeley. Sense Of Joy left a lasting impression when scorching home in a fast time on her Newmarket debut three weeks ago, with layers rushing to slash her odds for next year's 1,000 Guineas. However, before that she will bid to emulate stablemate Nannina, who won today's race in 2005 before going on to land the Fillies' Mile. A half-sister to the useful Day Flight, she should have stamina in abundance next year, and is one to follow. Muthabara has done nothing wrong in two starts, gaining back-to-back successes at Newbury and in Listed company at Sandown. The ground is drying up though, so it remains to be seen whether she will be as effective here. Rosaleen left her Kempton debut running behind when scoring easily at Thirsk, and is entered for the Cheveley Park. Her stable had a good juvenile winner at York on Tuesday, so she should not be out of place here. Nor should Mistress Greeley whose sire is proving very popular at present. Sir Michael Stoute's filly may not have beaten much at Nottingham, but can improve, and also holds a Cheveley Park entry. However, it was hard not to be impressed by Sense Of Joy's emphatic introduction, and she can only enhance her Classic claims by following up today.
