An intriguing maiden for two-year-olds is next on the agenda which has been won by some real stars in the past. Many of the top stables are represented but it's a so called small trainer that interests us. We fancy SYLAS INGS to out point Numeral and Beacon Hill. The selection made his debut in quite a hot maiden at Newbury and acquitted himself very well. The form has since been franked and his trainer has had a two-year-old winner here in recent times. Richard Hannon has continued to churn out two-year-old winners and therefore Numeral has to be respected. The horse has decent form of his own so can be fancied on his own merits. He ran nicely in one of the years hottest maidens during the Guineas meeting when finding his path blocked and then being eased. The step up in trip is sure to suit so must be monitored. Beacon Hill represents top connections and is nicely bred so must come into the reckoning. He holds notable entries later in the year so a betting check is advised. Oliver's Gold holds a Derby entry already but may need time and further to be seen at his best so we'll return to Sylas Ings for the win in the hope he can make his experience count.
