Quite a decent sprint handicap to open the card and the vote goes to RUN FOR THE HILLS ahead of Mac Gille Eoin and Parisian Pyramid. The selection hails from the in form John Gosden yard that have winners at this track. His speedily bred son of Oasis Dream made a satisfactory seasonal reappearance behind subsequent Duke Of York winner Prime Defender. He pulled far too hard that day and simply couldn't sustain his effort in the last furlong. The freshness should now be taken out of him and if settling better he can make his presence felt on a track he's gone well on before. Mac Gille Eoin is another horse that likes Goodwood having posted many decent efforts here. He is a course and distance winner and has to be respected on these undulating tracks as he really comes alive on them. Parisian Pyramid is a horse that has suffered because of his consistency. He hasn't got his head in front since his two-year-old days when winning here. He is sure to run well but weather he gets his head in front remains to be seen. Rileyskeepingfaith won his latest start but will do well to win today from his revised mark so we will return to Run For The Hills for the victory.
