It's not an original approach however the recent winners may be the ones to concentrate on and it is TILAPIA who is selected ahead of Binnion Bay, Touch Of Style and Ivory Lace. The Stef Higgins-trained runner sprang a surprise at 50/1 at Kempton last time out but there seemed no fluke about the win and off just a 4lb higher mark he is fancied to gain a first turf success. Touch Of Style has a 6lb penalty for a recent Bath win but has a good young jockey claiming 5lbs off his back, Lingfield specialist Binnion Bay is often overlooked but is not one to discount lightly, whilst Lou Bear is starting to look dangerously handicapped and is considered accordingly. Mount Athos is less exposed than many of his rivals and he put in his best effort to date at Chepstow last time out; that form looks strong for this level. Trafalgar Square is better on the all-weather, Jeremiah is in fair form but hard to win with, whilst Kings Troop has been hurdling but to little effect. Top-weight Merrymadcap is considered in a 0-70 for the first time in a while, however the vote here goes to Tilapia.
