Tromp continues in unstoppable form, and is taken to reel off a four-timer at the expense of Penny Wedding, with Whitgift Rock and Tight Squeeze best of the rest. Tromp has had a little rest since completing his hat-trick over 11 furlongs here in April. That win showed that he can do it on Turf as well as the Polytrack, and as one of his victories at Lingfield was gained over a mile and a half, today's trip is not a problem. Slightly more of a worry is the fact that he has gone up in the handicap, but we reckon that the four-year-old is still capable of making his presence felt with conditions in his favour, despite being worse off at the weights with Tight Squeeze who was third to the selection when they last met. Penny Wedding showed her well being when making a winning return at Folkestone in May, and now tackles a trip more in keeping with her breeding. James Fanshawe's filly can prove to be the main danger here ahead of Whitgift Rock who shapes as though he will stay, but who has never tried 12 furlongs in the past. Tromp has the proven form and is worth siding with again.
