The vote here goes to Halcyon Magic, although Kindlelight Debut, Miss Madame, Dudley Docker and Sunny Times can all be given chances. Halcyon Magic has a six pounds pull for the three-and-three-quarter lengths he finished behind Kindlelight Debut at Yarmouth last time, form on Turf that rates just about as good as any recent form that can be offered here. With a good apprentice booked, he should go well. Of course, the chance of Kindlelight Debut has also to be respected. Like the last-named, Topton is well handicapped on his form of two years ago and could go well, while Miss Madame is back to the mark from which she won last August and has to be afforded some respect. Midshipman failed to follow up his Haydock soft-ground win so he has us scratching our heads again, while Tee Jay Cassidy is among a number of those that appear to show their best on the all-weather. Dudley Docker put up an improved performance at Brighton last time and, with the third having won since, has to be given a chance. Finally, Sunny Times came good at Lingfield last time and should have a little more improvement to come. Overall, though, we will side with Halcyon Magic.
