Verdict

SHANWALLA won this in 2021 and was having only his fourth subsequent start when runner-up over a trip too short at Tipperary with Ossifer Hops back in third. He'll have been aimed at this and Danny Gilligan's claim is a major plus. We'llhavewan was chasing last year but reverted to hurdles at Ballinrobe and gained a convincing victory though he's up 12lb. Thornleigh Frank's two recent victories have been over 2m2f but he's been very impressive and a further test of stamina may suit. Miss Tempo went up 7lb for a victory over a big field at Naas but she followed up in style at Tipperary. She's 12lb higher here and her rider claims 2lb less. Something Abouther stepped up to this trip at Punchestown for a convincing success and should get into the action.
