Walking On Glass won this in 2020 and No Thanks scored a year later and though the latter was well beaten last year he's probably been laid out for another crack. Hallowed Star has scored over hurdles at the fixture twice and also over fences here but Willie Mullins' pair Mr Escobar and Immelmann were both beaten favourites last time though the latter was returning from a very long break. That remark also applies to CRASSUS, who hadn't run since November 2021 when an excellent third behind Tudor City over a trip too short at the Curragh. Noel Meade's charge will have come on plenty for the run and can start making up for lost time.
