In depth

Verdict

It’s a long time since June’s Newmarket winner Crystal Casque ran in going this soft so this may chiefly concern the three-year-olds MONTE LINAS and Battista. The latter is receiving 8lb from the former after easily landing the odds in a Wolverhampton maiden two weeks ago but the Crisfords’ gelding won on good to soft at York last month and may have the scope to defy a 4lb rise.
