Plenty of runners if little strength in depth and course-specialist Eau Pure should be up to disposing of Supreme Rullah and Lancier D'Estruval. Gary Moore looks to have plenty of chances on tonight's card and Eau Pure looks about the best of the bunch. A winner around here off a 6lb lower mark, it is worth noting that the handicapper had assessed him in three figures for quite some time so in retrospect, tonight's mark of 93 gives him an obvious chance. Lancier D'Estruval is exposed as plating class and while that is as good as he is, his most recent effort at Newton Abbot was his best for quite some time. Supreme Rullah hasn't shown too much since joining Lucy Wadham from Ireland. The mare does not appear to have a trip in her at the moment so it will be interesting to see if there is much in the way of market confidence. Lady Lisa looks assured to grasp the front running role tonight. Up 12lb for a recent win - she is also contending with ground that she has yet to face in her career thus far. Of the remainder, Isam Top could run well at a price. He is far from resolute in a finish and while his recent form is horrific, he does at least know how to win around this circuit and should have few difficulties with the prevailing ground. Eau Pure looks to have most ticks in the right boxes and we shall seek not to side against him.
